The Very 1st Monstrous Monday™: Varanus

Varanus

I love monsters; well-designed monsters are results of a pursuit in the name of “elegant brutality”. They are an excellent source of joy in life.

I call this Varanus. It was born amidst hectic deadlines and a generally trying week. It’s inspired by goblin sharks, komodo dragons, geckos, crocodiles and most importantly, classic Kaiju sensibilities. Come back next time for more!

For future reference and convenience, click on the category-based navigation on the right-hand side of this blog’s MAIN PAGE for MONSTER MONDAY entries/monsters.

Good night, world.

Signed, WEIGY
